We are currently seeking a Seafreight Import Customs Clerk for our client based in Felixstowe who specialise in Freight Forwarding and Supply Chain Logistics.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for liaising with customers, customs authorities, coordinating import customs clearances from start to finish.

Responsibilities of the Seafreight Import Customs Clerk: 

• Preparing documentation for customs clearance, process and monitor clearances
• Liaising with customers and consignees, Customs Authorises and Port Health

The successful Seafreight Import Customs Clerk will have a minimum of 3 years' import customs entry experience, clearing a variety of different cargo types.

You will need to have experience using CHIEF, CDS, Destin8 or similar systems etc.

Salary: Dependant on experience
