Internal Account Manager (Public Clients)

Salary:  Up to £30,000 OTE

Location:  Wakefield

Start: ASAP

On behalf of our specialist distribution clients, we are looking to appoint a proactive and motivated Internal Account Manager focusing on public clients, to increase sales and profitability,  as part of their team based in Wakefield.

What you'll do:

As Internal Account Manager you will focus on the company's public clients, developing new business and long-term business relationships.  A typical day will involve proactive telesales calls, delivering a high-level of service to result in increased sales and profitability. 

Duties include:

• Identifying and developing new business opportunities
• Responding to quotation requirements in a timely manner i.e. same day
• Increasing the product range sold to each customer
• Utilising the sales tools provided to maximise the full potential and spend of each customer
• Achieving increased sales of an agreed percentage on existing customers
• Maintaining accurate computerised records are kept up to date
• Setting and monitoring weekly and monthly objectives
• Actively supporting all marketing campaigns/outbound promotions by maximising take-up where possible through analysis.

What you need:

We're keen to speak to sales professionals with 2+ years' experience in a similar role.  Candidates should have excellent communication and influencing skills. 

• Ability to multitask, be organised, agree priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
• Sound knowledge of customer base, customer needs and sales cycle
