Our client is a leading contractor for construction, development, refurbishment and maintenance and is the forefront of innovation; they are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Services Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical).
The ideal person must be qualified to at least HND level, have a minimum 10/15 years experience in building services through consultancy/contracting. A comprehensive knowledge of current building regulations including gas and water regulations. A sound knowledge of renewables including solar, heat pumps (air, ground & water) a good knowledge of combined heat and power systems.
The role will involve checking design submissions from consulting engineers & contractors. To also check specifications from consulting engineers & contractors, go over specifications of tender and working drawings etc, on projects and give advice to delivery teams. Prepare reports for M&E Head of Department. You will be reporting to the Divisional Manager.
