Our client, a liner shipping company is looking for a Sales Executive to join their team, to be based in the North/North East and develop their presence there.
The right candidate will:
- Have a commercial background in liner shipping, freight forwarding or 3P logistics.
- Possess a proven track record in sales and business development or be able to demonstrate a hunger to succeed in a field sales role in a competitive market.
- Preferably be able to demonstrate knowledge of the local ocean freight market, particularly exports to the Far East.
- Be energetic and persistent with an ability to perform under pressure.
The primary responsibility will be to develop new accounts and expand the existing client portfolio.
The position will be home-based with a requirement for regular, regional customer visits and travel to London and/or Felixstowe branch offices as required.
The successful candidate will be offered a negotiable salary dependant on skills and experience.
